About The Blog

There are a couple reasons surrounding the creation of this blog. The main reason for is to share and give back.

As teacher of the art of cycling I find that there are a lot of unanswered questions from cyclists at the beginner level through those who are ready to give racing a try and few places to find the answers. Got questions? Ask away! With over 6 years of racing experience, starting as a beginner with no clue and working my way up to become a Pro sponsored athlete, and 5 years of knowledge as a certified Spinning® instructor, having worked with 100’s of clients, I’ve got lots to share.

Speaking of sharing and knowledge…
There are some other brains to pick on our Sport Science Team. If I can’t answer your questions chances are they can!

Racing the BC Bike Race (aka. Pacific Traverse), one of the most elite mountain bike stage races in the world, is a life goal for me, and I wanted a place to remember it. As well a place where friends, family, clients, fellow cyclists and armchair athletes can follow along, and hopefully be inspired. There already have been and are going to be a lot of stories and you can find them here!

The Wings of Steel team is looking for companies who want exposure. We love supporting growing companies with great products. Got a product related to our topics list (bikes, training, recovery, comfort, cycling, cross training, nutrition – the list is endless) that we should try? We’d be happy to provide a write up, review and if we love it, promotion for your product, both on this blog, our facebook group, and by word of mouth – we both know A LOT of people!! And we all know that word of mouth advertising is the best you can get!! Check out our Product Sponsors they ROCK!

  1. Message to Spinning Bloggers
    Hi,
My name is Bobbi and I’m working on the Spinning Nation event. I won’t bore you with too many details here, but it’s the first nationwide Spinning fundraising event ever and we have a very small staff putting it together. If you like the idea after you take a look at what we’re doing and wouldn’t mind mentioning us in your blog, it would help a lot. Maybe you’ll even sign up at a club near you. If not, I understand. Blogs are a very personal thing and I’d never ask if it weren’t all for good causes. Thanks, you can always reach me at bobbi@sportsgrants.org. The website is http://www.spinningnation.org

    Best Regards,

    Bobbi

I’d love your thoughts on my aspirations:

Let me know if you’d like to see “The Endurance Method”.

Thanks and keep the rubber side down!
